What can we offer?
What can we offer?
Psychological services
We can offer a range of individualised therapeutic services, depending on need. This could include psychological assessment, individual intervention or whānau/caregiver/kaimahi support. As all situations are different, please get in touch to see if our services are a good fit. We are always happy to discuss options and may be able to make recommendations about other available services if we are not right for you.
ACC Sensitive Claims Providers
We are both registered with ACC to provide assessment and support for survivors of sexual trauma. These services are fully funded so there is no cost to you.
Clinical Supervision
We are happy to provide clinical supervision to support individual professionals in their mahi. We can also offer group supervision in some cases, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Forensic Reports
We have been completing Court ordered reports since 2016, primarily for the Youth Court. These reports are usually requested if the Court wants information around general psychological functioning or more specific information about an individual's fitness to plead to their charge(s).
Charges
We charge $190/hour for our services, this price includes GST.
A typical 60 minute session would be made up of 50 minutes kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) time, with 10 minutes allowed for note taking, follow up and session planning.
Initial sessions may take longer than 60 minutes, or require extra time for things such as scoring assessments or writing reports. This will be discussed with you prior to the first session.
Clinical supervision sessions run for 60 minutes or as previously arranged with the supervisee.
Some services (such as ACC sensitive claim mahi) are fully funded so are at no cost to the individual.
Cancellations and Session Changes
While we try and be as flexible as possible, our mahi depends on mutual respect. We will provide a reminder via text or email the day before your scheduled session and ask that you please let us know if you are unable to make it. We may be able to re-schedule your session time or see you via another method (like videolink or telephone).
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the normal rate unless there are extenuating circumstances. Repeated lateness or no shows will result in kōrero about barriers to you attending planned sessions before any further sessions are scheduled.
